Would you like an added bonus to your defense Roll? Sure you would, we all would. Well you have come to the right place. Listed here is a supply of Spell Books, Armor and Shields you can purchase to give yourself a little bonus for defense. We request that you put these items into your description beside your class, so that others are aware you own them. You may only purchase one suit of armor, one Defense Spell Book, or one Shield at a time.

Classes with no magical capabilities are forbidden to purchase Defense Spell Books, just as classes with no weapon capabilities are forbidden to purchase Armor. Any character with a one handed weapon MAY purchase a shield

These bonus's only go into the DEFENSE roll, it only increases the likelihood of a miss. These defense items do NOT affect the damage, the attack roll STILL matches the damage. Any furre caught selling these items and are not a member of the appropriate guild will be found guilty of blackmarket goods and arrested.


Shield List: Only available from the Blacksmiths Guild and only usable by people who use one handed weapon

Basic Shield (+5) 25 Credits
A basic shield. Easily wielded with one hand.


Armor List: Only available from the Blacksmiths Guild

Leather Armor (+5) 25 Credits
The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by boiling in oil. The rest of the armor is softer and more flexible leather.

Chainmail (+10) 45 Credits
This armor is made of interlocking metal rings. It includes a layer of quilted fabric underneath it to prevent chafing and to cushion the impact of blows. Several layers of mail are hung over vital area's. Most of the armor's weight hangs from the shoulders, making chain mail uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. It includes gauntlets.

Full Plate (+15) 60 Credits
This armor consists of shaped and fitted metal plates riveted and interlocked to cover the entire body. It includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, and a visored helmet. You wear a thick layer of padding underneath (included). Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body. Each suit of full plate must be individually fitted to it's owner by a blacksmith.

The Book of Gaseous Form (+5) 25 Credits
This book teaches the caster how to turn their body and all equipment instantly into an insubstantial and translucent mist in order to avoid the attack.

The Book of Blade Barrier (+10) 45 Credits
This book teaches the caster how to summon a spinning disk of razor sharp blades. These blades whirl around the caster creating a circular barrier.

The Book of Prismatic Walls (+15) 60 Credits
This book teaches the caster to summon and instantaneous vertical opaque wall, a shimmering multicoloured plane of light that protects the caster from the attack.
