This girl always walks with a distinctive spring to her step, a light hum drifting through the breeze amidst the soft clatter of beads and the jingle of small bells. When inside the cart that she sells her wares she looks as human as any while wearing her hood. However outside, it is quite obvious that she isn't so. After all two legs was the norm for humans was it not? Not four~ From below her hips was not two human legs but a distinctly leonine body. A pair of feline ears also poke out from her hair. Her skin is a dark tan, her eyes a bright and lively shade of blue. Around her waist she wears a (maybe fake?) large gem that seems to have a cat-like eye in the center. When out she also wears a waist pouch that she stores potions in; or perhaps ingredients she goes out to collect!

Maya has a tendency to drift between here and there. She comes from plains lands far away, likely drawn by the same curiosity in the outside world that has driven her for most of her young life. The easiest way for one to know that she is in town would be the sight of a gypsy-esque wagon somewhere outside the walls. Inside which she offers fairly discounted healing services in return for enough to eat! Which can be difficult considering her size. (>.>)
It also makes things easy when she can pull her own wagon.

Hexas has long raven hair aside from a streak of lavender in her bangs that tumbles down her shoulders like a waterfall of darkness but behind those ebony locks lie intelligent violet eyes. When she isn’t reading or trying to learn more about botany or healing she is praying to those above for Hexas was a Cleric. She believes there are many things in this world that cannot be explained by a mortal’s mind yet mortals can try to learn all that they can, to better not only themselves but those who wish to learn are granted some of the ultimate knowledge. Hexas is shy and somewhat quiet but once she opens up to someone she is very warm and kind. She can usually be found with her nose in a book or wandering around looking for herbs. As both a complete believer in the unknown and constant student to what is known she enjoys challenging her knowledge to expand it which sometimes lands her in trouble.

Description: At first glance, all anyone would see was a pretty face. By human standards, she was divine, her bouncy bronze colored curls falling to her waist, save for the loose bangs that framed her blue-green eyes. Her clothes were fairly simple, a sunflower yellow and white peasant blouse over a flowing black skirt set over cute lace-up knee-high black boots. A white cloth was draped around her waist, held in place with a black pin with the image of a white bird on it.
Need to know: Doesn't show her ears. Soft-spoken. Not one to fight at all.

We are going through and updating the classes and adding races to our system!
This means a couple of things!
1) Some classes are being removed! If you have a character in one of these classes I will get with you, personally, and we'll figure out how to best reclass your character.
2) Removed classes are becoming Races! You are now going to be able to be a Dragon Bard.... or a Demon Champion! Races will adjust your characters BASE stats! Unfortunately this means everyone will have to choose a race! I will try to reach out to everyone, in game or via the forums, to remind you to choose your race!

Golden rings & studs decorate her ears. Her claws are painted in time-honoured tradition with blood-red henna. Step 1: Select your character class from one of these two pages!
This is by far the most important step. Please understand that your class determines what feats/abilities are available to you as you level. There are no custom abilities in Atas. We have a lot of classes to give you a wide variety but understand there is no multiclassing and no substitution.

Open those two links in a new tab, look through them and select one that fits your style. Keep that open in a new tab.
Step 2: Open the skills page in a new tab! There are 10 total, you get to select up to 5 for your character. You can choose less, but you cannot select more later. This is set in stone, choose wisely.
Step 3: Open the character template in a new tab!
Step 4: Go to the forum page for the character class of your choice, and create a new topic
Step 5: Now we put it all together. Paste the contents of the character template from step 4 into your new post. Fill in your maximum five skills from the list in step 2. All the stats (Health, Stamina, Magic) come from the class sheet in step 1.
Step 6: The creative part!
Character background, pictures, description, this all gets filled in to your hearts desire. We all love to read a well written character description. Want to write a full length novel, a whole story instead of just a description? We have a special spot of honor for just such players, the character stories page right on the front of the forums

Itinerant Priest and ragged wanderer, Nickodemus is a sad reminder that the perils of this world scar more than the body. Once an ambitious young priest Nickodemus was a part of the vaunted Healers of Hattim. The Healers are renowned for their work in the plague outbreak and subsequent quarantine of Jakarta, city in the West. Whatever happened out west left Nickodemus slightly unhinged and deeply cynical. He has since quit the Healers, resorting to doomsaying in market squares and peddling blessings on the roadside. What spare time he has is taken up with drinking, gambling and the petty vices that make up life.
In appearance he is informal. His formerly black robes are encrusted with dirt and full of patches. He carries a travellers pack to which is strapped all sorts of odds and ends. His quarantine mask has been modified so that it now resembles shaman bird mask than a healer's.

This loiness' fur is creamy, marked with streaks of pale white, a thin yet well maintained layer. Her hair is midback in length, and sleek. Her form is well curved at the bossom and hips, but proportionate to her height of around five and a half feet. A form fitted gown of silk hangs in a flattering fashion from her curves, with a set of criss-crossing golden belts slung at the hips. These belts match the cloak which is of a warm gold and lined with a layer of white cotton. The cloak itself is hindered to flowing between large feathered white wings.
